Here’s a couple of pics of the frog sanctuary I built in my yard, complete with a Budweiser frog sign and Hill Top’s newest addition: four-month-old Cheyenne- a super cute, sweet and chill German Shepherd who loves hangin’ out with the frogs and is also friends with our resident armadillo who I call Big Pink (that’s another story for another time). If you have a water hydrant in your yard then just loosen up the ground around it with a spading fork then build up a little hill of rocks with lots of space in between for the frogs to come and go. The big flat rock you see with the water pan on it is raised up off the ground a few inches so the frogs have a safe place to hang. Keep it moist and voila: your very own frog sanctuary!
